I've installed this plugin to my blog. It works at WP 2.8. But I don't know how it can block spam because I've not accepted any comments yet.

I think Disqus gives more to the webmaster when it comes to configuring anti-spam, that's why I prefer Disqus.

its win-win solutions when use disqus, we can manage comment with easy when use it but it will give more chance for spammers to do a commenting

It is about on par with Akismet. I find that there are more attempts at spam, however, because Disqus increases the reach of comments--because of its automatic syndication and trackbacks and discussion boards, etc. it is a much juicier target for spammers.

As with the old system, I just recently (yesterday) gave up on leaving it unmoderated, so now I moderate all comments before they are published. So, I guess the answer is really "Not good enough, but as good as anything else I've tried."

just a heads for you - have you upgraded to the latest version? lots of new goodies you might find interesting... Nice blog you got here by the way... not read through everything yet but it seems from what ive read so far you got your head screwed on the right way ;)
